Gerrard- The foundation of Liverpool

Once again...the Captain of Liverpool has been noted most worthy of the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Player of the Year.
This comes on the back of a consistent year for the Liverpool Captain who scored some very important club games as well as in Champions' League games.

What a champ!!

Also worth noting is the Champions' Team of the Year.

Shay Given (Newcastle), Pascal Chimbonda (Wigan), John Terry (Chelsea), Jamie Carragher (Liverpool), William Gallas (Chelsea), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Joe Cole (Chelsea), Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United), Thierry Henry (Arsenal), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United).

Only 2 Liverpool players but only 6 teams were chosen from which tells you which teams have the money to burn.

Our country's problems

I came into early work early one day and I felt so buggered so I couldn't start work straight away.

I walked out to grab my latte with 2 sugars and a blueberry bagel with cream cheese. Mmm...
As I came back into the office, I visited a news website which had a link to a documentary on North Korean refugees. I was horrified and seriously it crushed my heart to see them treated such inhumanely. I could not believe that such atrocities such as this could still happen.

It is only a 60 minute documentary and definitely a worthwhile view. Maybe it was my ignorance or blatant misunderstanding of the refugee status of the North Koreans but definitely it will be something that will need continual updating on.

just one of those mornings

When I woke up today...the sun had not fully rose.
I went to the back of our house to grab a glass of water and then for no apparent reason, i started to get nostalgic. It was a weird funny feeling.

I remember weather like this about 8 years ago...Felt like a Saturday when Daniel, Graham, Elly would wake up early. That was unheard of when you are a teenager. Anyways we would all wake up our own different houses and trudge towards eastwood park. We would look at each other with a 'what the hell are we doing here' pose. You can always tell when Daniel is tired because his eyes look it. But anyways we would stretch and start running around the field.
Everyones been to Eastwood Park and you would notice that it is a fairy big field. Anyways after a couple of brutal laps, we would calm down...actually I would stop running because of fatigue. Graham would go gun-ho and run hard out....he had a innocent way of making us feeling lazy.

On finishing our running routinue, we would go over to the local chinese bread store and pick out fresh bread. It was soooo hot and sooooo tasty.

Anyways all these memories came around after feeling the coldness of the morning.

now lets get back to work.
