To live a life worth living..

My friend's wedding.

Congratulations Sheila and Phil on your marriage.

Finally you guys are married. It has been a long time coming but I'm sure it has been worth the wait. May God continue to bless your marriage and really be the focus of the rest of your lives.

Outdoor wedding. Thankfully the wedding held up ok.

The wedding was seriously fun. I had no idea what was going on in the actual wedding because the celebrant was Korean and i couldn't hear him. I sat back and talked with Ross who also had no idea what was going on because he's Italiano.
Ross and me. He is Pauline's boyfriend. Fantastic bloke.

The reception hall at Curzon Hall was really elegant and simple.

This is my table. I was put on the table with all of Sheila's cousins. Dang..her family is huge...as in lots of them...not physical side.

Family photo with Phil, Sheila, Pauline and her mum.

At the reception, there were so many waiters going around like crazy. Trying to feed 250 hungry Koreans is a difficult task. Admist the chaos of the food being served, one waiter served me and I stood stiff. Not because he was over good looking or any homosexual thoughts but the fact that he was a striking image of Prince Harry. He doesn't look it when he's smiling but when he's got a straight face, many people were fooled. I took a photo with Royalty..HA!

This is Sheila. The lucky bride of the day. She was looking really pretty in her wedding dress but I wasn't fast enough to get a picture with her in it. Instead I had to be content with han-bok. She still looked beautiful. Man...I'm either Wonza black or she's tofu white.

The wedding reception ended with many fun moments including the speech by the groom's best man where he publicy humilated the poor bloke. My best men better run their speeches before me. I don't want to be shocked as Phil was. We ended up at the Shangri-La hotel in the city, winding down and sharing the true stories about Phil and Sheila. Much love!

When i look over Sheila and Phil's marriage, I'm sure that it was something that was orchestrated by God in his perfect timing. The truth behind 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a never ceases to amaze me and challenge me to discover what true love is. I pray this verse would be one in which Sheila and Phil both treasure and live out each and every day of their lives.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
