A gloomy Thursday

After a couple weeks of beautiful sunshine, the rains came around. I guess Sydney is one place which needs rain and lots of it.
Today I got to wake up to the sounds of a Chinese man mumbling all this mutter. Turns out that he was the CABLE GUY. Finally I have internet at my place. It didn't even need to be fast. Fast enough so I could blog and write my emails.
A weird thing today was that even though I couldn't understand everything the cable guy was saying, I could still understand what he was trying to get across. For example,
Actual: "Mutter...mutter....mutter....toilet mutter?"
Translation: "Where is your bathroom?"
Actual: "Mutter...mutter....mutter...email mutter mutter mutter."
Translation: "I have activated your email account for you."
I think I can boast that I can understand Chinglish better because of him.

Wow, you're tri-lingual now Mins. But that's cool that you have cable internet now ... how fast is the rate?
